Chisholm Trail Ride Update - October 2012

Howdy from Tyler and Chad!

After taking on several freelance opportunities, and attending Phoot Camp in upstate New York, we are back in the saddle for the Chisholm Trail Ride.  We have both been shooting videos and stills around the world; Chad just came back from the Middle East, and Tyler is about to head to China.

It is still our plan to ride in the Spring of 2013.

We are continuing to reach out to individuals and corporations for large donations. We’ve had a few companies sign on as sponsors, including a beer sponsor, which we are pretty excited about.  Please let us know if you have any fundraising ideas or connections, as we still need more financial support to complete this project.

Here in Texas, we just got back from the Georgetown “Chisholm Trail Days.” We attended our first Cattlemen’s Ball, and had a booth near historic re-enactors, chuck wagons, cowboy poets & musicians, a yodeling cowgirl, and a longhorn cattle drive.

Incorporating the roping, branding, and bull riding we have already filmed, we are producing  some short videos about the cowboy way of life, which we hope to share soon.

We have a new website, and added a tumblr blog. Between our Facebook Page, Twitter, and YouTube, we’ll keep you up to date with happenings, photos, and videos as they come along.

Thank you for supporting us, and the preservation of Texas history.
